Wayne and I both share a passion for fishing and everything that goes along with it. As avid anglers ourselves, we know how important it is to have the right tools and resources when out on the water. That's why we've made it our mission to provide our guests with the best possible fishing experience through our top-notch facilities and services.
In 1979, Wayne and I spent our honeymoon on a fly-in fishing trip. It was during that week we realized owning a fishing lodge was our calling. We went on dozens of
fishing trips and checked out several lodges before finding Kipawa Lodge. Kipawa Lake was stunning, the fishing outstanding. Though the cabins and lodge were more than a little rough, we were too young and excited to be deterred.
Kipawa Lodge was established in 1960. Since 1988 we have been working tirelessly to improve the Lodge. Significant renovations have been made to cabins, updated rental boats as well as the installation of a solar power system to provide 24-hour electricity. We are very proud to offer cottage rentals and fishing packages for sportsmen and families. More than 75% of guests return year after year.
We will never be finished upgrading and making improvements but that’s okay. We raised our daughters here and our grandkids visit every summer. We’ve made some great friends. For us, fishing isn't a hobby it's a way of life!
